In addition to her association with the Hawaii Watercolor Society, Julie is also a member of Windward Artists Guild and has exhibited regularly since 2003 in both juried and member shows.

Windward Artists Guild supports and promotes all mediums of art in Hawaii. Since Julie began her artistic journey in glass, she values the camaraderie, enthusiasm and connection with artists who work in clay, metal, glass, wood, fiber and paint.

Julie has studied watercolor locally with well-known Hawaii artists Ruth Laird Pistor, Bridgette Adams, and Patrice Federspiel as well as Deborah Stachowic of Seattle.

A resident of Hawaii for 36 years, Julie regularly travels to the mainland to visit her children and grandchildren. Her watercolors continue to evolve and mature and she is excited at what the future holds for her.
